Everything on this page is cut on the same machine that does our trade work, from the same sheets. Nothing is held in stock, so nothing sits in a warehouse getting damp. Prices include VAT.

Material

Needs doing before launch

No product carries a "best seller" or "popular" badge until it genuinely is one. The only badges here describe facts: what's in the box, and whether it ships flat.
Prices are indicative. Cost them from the estimator once the sheet prices are real, then add your margin rather than guessing a retail price.
There is no basket or checkout yet. Stripe Payment Links can carry these eight products with no backend at all as a first step.
Each product needs its own page before launch. Cards alone will not convert a £128 purchase.

Every piece here is a file, not a warehouse pallet. Tell us the size you actually need and we cut that instead, usually for the same money.

What made to order means

Four days, not four weeks

You orderCard payment at checkout. Your receipt carries the drawing reference.
We nest itYour piece joins the next sheet of that material, usually within two working days.
Cut and finishedSanded to 180 grit, then oiled or waxed by hand. Two coats, dried between.
Boxed or dropped offCourier for the small things, our own van within 25 miles. Delivery details.

Before you order

Questions worth asking

Can I return a made-to-order piece?

Stock sizes, yes. You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, and we pay return postage if something is wrong with it. Pieces cut to a size you specified are exempt from that right, because we cannot sell a 743 mm shelf to anyone else. We will always replace a genuine fault, custom or not.

Why is birch ply more expensive than oak here?

Because the price reflects the sheet, the cut time and the finishing, not the romance of the timber. A wide ply panel uses more of an expensive sheet than a narrow oak component uses of a cheap board. We would rather show you the arithmetic than pretend.

Will the grain match the photograph?

No, and we would be lying if we said otherwise. Every board is different. What we guarantee is the species, the thickness, the finish and the dimensions. If grain match matters across a set, tell us and we will cut them from one board.

Do you sell the drawings?

For some pieces, yes. If you have your own machine and would rather cut it yourself, ask. We would rather sell you a file than lose the sale to a delivery quote.
