We cut plywood, MDF, Valchromat, solid hardwood, acrylic and aluminium composite for joiners, shopfitters, exhibition builders and designers across Greater Manchester and the North West, and we make our own range of furniture and fittings on the same machine.

Redwing exists because the awkward end of this trade is badly served. Plenty of bureaux will quote you two hundred identical panels. Far fewer will take a prototype, a short run, or a single replacement part to match an existing installation, and fewer still will tell you before you order that your dimensions are wasting half a sheet.

That is the work we have built around. Prototype and first-off parts, short production runs, replacements matched to something already fitted, and the cut-to-size jobs that sit awkwardly between a merchant's panel saw and a full production shop.

The discipline comes from engineering and from operations. Our technical side is engineering trained, with fifteen years of running multi-site operations behind it, which is largely the business of making a process hold up when it is under pressure. The reason jobs fail in this trade is rarely the machine. It is a drawing nobody checked, a thickness nobody confirmed, a promise nobody wrote down. We build the checks in rather than rely on being careful on the day.

Every job runs through the same route whether it is one part or a hundred: file check before quoting, nest and yield confirmed with you, cut, dimensional check against the drawing, then finish and dispatch. Trade work and our own range go through the same process, which is why the furniture on this site carries the same tolerances as the commercial jobs.

We are specialists rather than a volume house. If you need ten thousand identical parts a week you want a shop with a night shift, and we will say so rather than take the order and let you down. What we are built for is the work that needs judgement, and the customer who wants to speak to whoever is actually cutting it.

Your call before this goes live

Names and both portraits are the only things standing between this and a finished page. Shoot the two portraits in the same place with the same framing, because a matched pair reads as a company and two mismatched selfies undo the whole page.
Read the second paragraph as a customer. It claims engineering training and fifteen years of multi-site operations. Both need to be accurate, and the second needs deciding: you can describe it without naming your employer, which is what I have done here.
Both directors need registering at Companies House to match this page. Your co-director has agreed to be named, so make sure the incorporation lists two directors rather than one.
The family connection is deliberately left off. A family business is a decent trade signal if you want it, so say the word and I will add one line. It reads badly only if it looks like the reason he got the job rather than seventeen years on the tools.
Capability figures are still placeholders until the machine is specified. The tolerance claim in particular is now on your About page as a promise, so only publish a number you can actually hold.
The sector list is framed as work the machine suits rather than work you have done, which is the honest version on day one. Once you have jobs behind you, swap it for the sectors you have actually served and link each to a job on the Recent work page. Evidence beats a list.
